The room we stayed in was spacious and modern, it even had a fully equipped kitchen - pretty cool! Overall, we had a great experience here. Another plus is that the place is conveniently located not far from the main highway 🌟.

Helpful people working here. Good-sized and brand-new units with the single bed, big sofa, a great shower. Lots of excellent food for meals.

There was absolutely nothing to like about this motel except that the lady at the front desk (daughter of the owner) was very friendly.
This is the scariest motel we have ever been to. It is set high up on a hill amongst what appears to be a "dumping ground". This is the dirtiest and most run-down motel we have ever seen, and the rate they are requesting is absolutely outrageous for what you are getting. You couldn't pay us $100 to stay there. In fact, we took the loss of our pre-payment/deposit just to get out. Yes, it was that bad. Would not recommend that anybody stay there; not even backpackers. We ended up staying at the Coves Motor Inn which was like a "day/night comparison" for the extra $20. We cannot believe some of the "positive" reviews we read on this motel. It cannot possibly be the same place. Very misleading.

The owner was very knowledable about the area and provided several hands on advices where to go to have the best time. He is one of the best hosts I have met during my travel. I would absolutely recommend this place to solo travellers as well as to couples.

This hotel offers great value for money, with affordable prices that won't break the bank. The attention to detail is impressive, from the fully functioning kitchen that has everything you need to cook your own meals, to the big garden where you can relax and unwind. The location, just off the busy roundabout, is perfect for exploring the nearby attractions and the newly built supermarket just down the road is an added convenience.
No complaints here, everything was just fine.

The proprietor was very helpful and friendly. We didn't have towels for the caves the next day and he let us borrow some and bring them back after we had checked out. We had the family room (because it's all that was left) so we had lots of room and enjoyed just hanging out the night before our adventure in Waitomo.
It was old and basic but that's all there is in that area. Don't expect the Sheraton.

The service at this hotel was excellent, with friendly and prompt staff. It made our stay very easy and enjoyable. The family room we stayed in was incredibly spacious and well equipped, with a fully functioning kitchen and a good dining table. It had everything we needed to cook for ourselves. The location of this hotel was great, just off the newly built roundabout. It made it convenient for us to explore the area, especially the Waitomo Caves.
The appearance of the hotel grounds could use some improvement and tidying up.

Thanks all for a very special stay on our North Island road trip. The room was brand-new & neat, came with big sofa, quite good value, as example. The location was handy - just off caves and restaurants, glow worm and a new roundabout. Also, Aranui Cave was around the corner.

The attention to detail in the rooms, such as the fully functioning kitchenette, made our stay comfortable and convenient. The location just off the roundabout and close to the newly built roundabout allowed for easy access to the hotel and made it a convenient base for exploring the surrounding area.
All was satisfactory.

The motel was clean and tidy, with a well-equipped kitchen that had everything we needed. the beds were comfortable and warm, ensuring a good night's sleep. the owners were friendly and provided helpful information about the local area and activities to do.
The motel was a bit overpriced compared to other accommodations nearby. the location wasn't very inspiring, and there were no walkable attractions nearby.
